It is the policy of this office to handle the information you provide to us with the utmost confidentiality and care. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our clients or former clients to anyone, except as requested by our clients or as required by law.

Your privacy is important to us. This website is only an informational website.  Any correspondence with you will be through email, phone, or postal service. Please do not send confidential information through email. Use the Portal on to share documents and personal information between office and clients securely.  An account to upload documents will be created. This portal is for short term storage, no documents will remain there, however, this office will have all documents used to create your return.

In order for Paul Laird EA. to provide tax preparation services, tax planning, consultation, and accounting services, we need to collect nonpublic personal information about you from various sources, including but not limited to:

  • Interviews regarding your tax situation
  • Applications, organizers  or other documents that supply such information as your name, address, telephone number, Social Security Number, number of verified  dependents, income, and other tax-related data
  • Tax-related documents you provide that are required for processing tax returns, such as Forms W-2, 1099R, 1099-INT and 1099-DIV, and 1099-B brokerage.
  • Banking information.  For our office to provide services including direct deposit (refunds) or direct debit (for federal and state payments and/or for our services), we must collect your banking information.  Any transaction we process must include a signed authorization from you, verifying the account.
